Snapplique™ Hoots the Owl Designed by Amy Bradley
Snapplique is a process of creating and cutting applique shapes created by Becky Thompson of Power Tools with Thread. In the class we will create digital embroidery stitches and cut applique shapes using the brother scan and cut, canvas workspace and Embrillance embroidery software all on your laptop.
Required supplies and check list for students
1. Laptop with a mouse, mouse pad and power cord.
(This process is VERY difficult to do using a touch pad)
2. The download version of canvas workspace installed on laptop.
Make sure it is the updated version and that you log in at least 5 days before the class.
3. Embrillance embroidery software - Essentials module and at least Stitch Artist 2 although Stitch Artist 3 is recommended. Have this installed on your laptop prior to class.
4. Blank USB no larger than 4GB
