Picnic Quilt - Cluck Cluck Sew

Allison created this pattern as a fun, motivating project—something simple, eye-catching, and perfect for quilters who enjoy a satisfying finish without complicated techniques. While students will focus on creating a crib-sized version during class (51”x68”), they’ll gain the skills to complete any size at home confidently.
Project Overview
-
Materials: Fat Quarter bundles or 1/4 yard cuts
-
Technique: Straight-line, traditional piecing with blocks set on-point (on the diagonal)
Bring your favorite fabrics, your sewing machine, and your creativity—and leave with the knowledge and inspiration to make this quilt in any size you choose!
Prior to class: Prepare your fabric for cutting. I typically starch my fabric, but that is a personal preference.
