Towel Apron

| Requirements: | Sewing machine with regular foot and 1/4" foot, needles (90-14 preferred), thread to match bodice fabrics, fabric scissors, pins and/or clips. Hand sewing needle (you can use a smaller crewel needle) for gathering towel and heavier thread (I use hand quilting or upholstery thread). One bath towel (will usually be sufficient for two aprons) or a hand towel if doing a children's size. Two fat-quarters to coordinate with your towel (four if you will eventually do the entire towel). NOTE: Directional fabric may require more or may need to be pieced depending on the size you are making. About 1/2 yard of light to medium-light iron-on interfacing per apron. Pattern Ease or similar product if you do not want to cut up the supplied pattern. Ironing boards and irons are available. |
