Have you always wanted to make a quilt or want to brush up on your quilting skills? Now is the time. Learn some of the basics of quilting. After the 6-week class you should have a lap sized quilt top completed. Suggestions for finishing the quilt will be offered in the final class. We will be offering it at 2 different times. Classes will be on Wednesdays starting on Feb. 15.
You can choose between:
2:30 - 5:00 pm or 5:30 - 8:00pm. Check website for a complete list of dates.
Cost: $100 for all six sessions
Requirements:
Supplies List: Sewing machine with regular foot and ?" foot (if possible), needles (80-12 preferred), good quality sewing thread (prefer 50 wt, cotton), rotary cutter, small sewing scissors, good quality (thinner and longer) pins, longer ruler such as a 6" x 24" and a square ruler at least 6". The staff at Cardinal Creations can help you with some of these things ahead of time, but we will have time at the first class also. If you have some tools but are questioning if they are ?right? for the job, bring them with you. Some items are perfectly serviceable when you are first starting out, but you may want to upgrade as you progress. Ironing boards and irons are available at the store, but you will need one at home. There are cutting mats to use in the classroom, but you will also need one at home.
