This class will focus on how to free motion quilt a Hoffman Dream Big Panel (of your choice). By using
several colors of thread, quilting techniques, and designs, you will learn how to create a "sampler" of
beautiful free motion designs. This is a 2 session class.

You will need to know how to set up your machine for free
motion quilting, have basic FMQ skills and know how to make tension adjustments as needed.

Supply List:
∙Doodle composition Books (9.75? X 7.5?)
∙Pencil/pen for notes and doodling
∙Hoffman Dream Big Panel
∙Batting (80/20 works well) if you want extra loft, use 2 layers
∙Backing Fabric
∙Threads to match your panel (it will take several different colors of quality thread, example:
Glide or Brother)
∙Extra needles (Microtex/Topstich 90/14)
∙Scissors
∙Darning foot/Free Motion Foot
DO BEFORE CLASS: Assemble your panel, batting, and backing securing all layers, making sure there are no wrinkles. (I use safety pins for my panels. They allow me to adjust, if needed ? it happens, as I quilt).
**Be sure to have batting and backing extend beyond panel a minimum of 3 inches.
