beginner
Skill Details:
Confident Beginner - must have a basic quilting experience
Requirements:
Please come with the approximate size desired for your finished quilt. Second Class: Drawing or drawings (make a couple of copies of all your proposed blocks (better if on paper-piecing paper), scissors (to be used on paper) pencil and eraser, colored pencils (if desired) calculator (probably on your phone) paper for notes and recording required fabric yardages. Sewing machine, basic sewing supplies (needles, thread, pins, scissors, etc.), rotary cutter, and basic paper-piecing supplies (thin plastic for turning and add-a-quarter ruler) may be brought, but you will not have much time to sew. Third Class: Completed blocks (recommend leaving paper on until trimming is complete), rotary cutter (with a fresh blade) rulers for trimming (at least a 12", but an 18" one and a 9" to 12" square may be helpful). Small sticky notes to label your blocks and pins (my sticky notes never stay on without help). Sewing machine with basic sewing supplies (as noted above).
